Sand expert round table and World Resources Forum 2021

UNEP/GRID-Geneva organises an expert round table (closed event) around sand to identify a set of principles on policy for the just and responsible governance and management of sand with an output intended for dissemination ahead of UNEA 5.2 and other relevant and strategic opportunities. This closed session is followed by a public online session at the World Resources Forum 2021 on 12 October 2021 from 16:30 to 17:20 CET called "The elephant in the extractives room: the neglected value of sand", with renown panelists such as: Halinishi Yusuf, Kiran Pereira, Daniel Franks, Marc Goichot and Ian Selby.
