Launch of the 2nd Caucasus Environment Outlook

The second edition of the Caucasus Environment Outlook (CEO-2) has officially been launched on 02 November 2024 as an online webinar. The CEO-2 explores the latest regional developments and environmental assessments in terms of population, urbanization, economic development, climate change, land cover, biodiversity, air quality, freshwater and cross-cutting issues in the six Caucasus countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Russian Federation and Türkiye). GRID-Geneva created most of the maps of the publication and participated to numerous activities linked to this publication through the SCAC project.
