Project description

A MOOC, sponsored by the United Nations Environment Program and the University of Geneva, in collaboration with the National Adaptation Planning Global Support Programme has been developed. It gathers international experts from academia, international and nongovernmental organisations for helping to answer questions such as “Why is adaptation to climate change necessary? Why are small islands particularly vulnerable to climate change? How can we analyse climate risks? How can adaptation contribute to sustainable development goals?
It is a 5-week course that provides a thorough introduction to the issues surrounding climate change adaptation using a case-study approach.
