Solid waste dumping sites in Gaza
Description
Under non-conflict conditions approximately 95 % of the population in Gaza is serviced by a collection system. There are currently three landfills in Gaza; one each in south, central and northern Gaza respectively. All have been established through donor-funded projects and have basic infrastructure and equipment, including weighbridges to measure the weight of trucks.
