Description
Iguazú National Park and its neighborhoods (Brazil, Argentina) contain
remnants of the highly endangered Paranaense Rainforest home
of thousands of animal species unique to this area.
However, more than 90% of this forest has been converted
into croplands between 1973 and 2003, partly to
produce fodder for European livestock.
