Description

Global temperature rose by 0.74°C since 1900 (1.76°C for Switzerland); our climate is warming
up at an increasing rate. To the natural greenhouse effect (e.g. produced by gaz released by
volcanic eruptions, swamps,…), adds up the effect resulting from human activities.
As compare to pre-industrial era, carbonic dioxide (CO2) concentration into the atmosphere
is 35% higher (mostly due to use of fossil fuel and forest fires).
Concentration of methane (CH4) is 148% higher (mostly due to agriculture, cattle, …).
