Foresight brief - Working with plants, soils and water to cool the climate and rehydrate Earth’s landscapes
Disruption of the movement of water (through forests and soils alteration) in and through the atmosphere causes major shifts in precipitation that in turn exacerbates climate change regionally and beyond. Understanding the interwoven relationships can help mitigate climate change and create more resilient ecosystems.
