Description
Located at an altitude of more than 3000 m in the arid Atacama
Desert, the mine Escondida is the biggest cupper mine in the
World. On top of its impact on the landscape, this open-air
exploitation depends from large quantity of external water supply
necessary for the different steps of mineral extraction.
