Karen did a bachelor's degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences, and she is currently completing her master's degree in Geological Risks at the University of Geneva. In parallel, she is concluding a Geomatics certificate at the University of Geneva with an internship at UNEP-GRID. For her internship, she studies Sand and Dust Storms evolution in frequency and intensity.
